Shaun Ellwood Promoted to Senior Driver at Hadley & Ottaway Ltd.

We are pleased to announce the promotion of Shaun Ellwood from Removals Driver to Senior Driver at Hadley & Ottaway Ltd.

Shaun joined Hadley & Ottaway in June 2022, initially developing his experience across our removals operations before progressing into a driving role in June 2023. Since then, he has continued to build his knowledge, skills and experience across all aspects of the removals industry.

As part of his professional development, Shaun has completed a wide range of specialist courses, accreditations and training, giving him valuable expertise in handling and transporting a variety of household and specialist items.

His training and accreditations include:

• Counterbalance Forklift Certificate
• Driver CPC Training
• Crating & General Packing
• Export Wrapping
• Grand Piano Handling
• Barometer Handling
• Grandfather Clock Handling
• China & Glassware Handling
• Picture Handling
• Manual Handling and Kinetic Lifting

This broad range of training reflects the varied nature of the work carried out by our team and the importance we place on maintaining high standards of care, safety and professionalism when handling our customers’ possessions.

Shaun’s progression from Removals Driver to Senior Driver is a testament to his commitment to developing his skills and taking on greater responsibility within the business. His experience and specialist knowledge will be a valuable asset as he continues in his new role.
