As with many companies over the last few years, we here at Hadley and Ottaway were badly affected by the recession, which in turn meant investment in areas such as vehicle replacement and refurbishment had to be put on hold. However, having ridden out and successfully come through what was perceived to be the worst of the recessionary storm, we are now back on track and this spring were able to re-introduce our investment plan for our fleet of vehicles, which started with a full refurbishment of the Scania.
As always we do our utmost to support businesses local to us and did so when it came to this refurbishment project by enlisting the services of a local company called Vancraft who are based in Besthorpe near Attleborough in Norfolk. We hope you’ll agree when we say that they did a fantastic job with the removals truck now looking better than ever!
Following on from this first piece of good news, we are also delighted to announce that we have invested in a replacement vehicle for our 24-year-old Leyland Daf 1900. This has been ordered and is scheduled to arrive with us in August.
We will keep you updated on the story of our new vehicle when it arrives next month as well as any other good news stories we can share with you, our valued customers.
If you’d like to arrange for our newly refurbished Scania to play a pivotal role in your forthcoming move, don’t hesitate to get in touch today on 01953 884 841 to discuss your removal requirements in greater detail with a member of our team who will be more than happy to help.
