We were delighted to help one of our customers move home to Denmark a couple of weeks ago!
The move was via our Store collecting from Cambridge and being stored for approximately 3 weeks before being reloaded for the journey to Denmark. Managing Director David Galer commented that ‘Whilst only a relatively small consignment the Customer required delivery on specific dates and so the schedule was planned accordingly using our new bespoke ‘low loader’ van’!
Day One - 14th Nov loading from Storage then heading off to Harwich for the overnight Ferry to Hook of Holland.
Day Two - Disembarking at 0800hrs the crew of two Jordan & Clive continued their journey through Holland and into Germany arriving at Puttgarden for the 45 minute Ferry crossing to Rodby in Denmark where they disembarked and stayed overnight.
Day Three - Travelled to Copenhagen arriving at 10 am to commence unloading (see attached Photos) and also unwrap the ‘export wrapped’ furniture and unpack the boxes. Before departing they ensured that the customer was happy with where all the furniture had been placed. They then return to Rodby for the ferry back to Puttgarden where they stayed overnight.
Day Four - Travel back to the Hook of Holland catching the overnight ferry back to Harwich.
Day Five - Disembarked at 0500hrs and returned to Watton. Trip completed with yet another very satisfied customer who was delighted not only with the service but able to meet al of their specific requirements.
