Hadley & Ottaway were delighted to be part of this years Porkstock event at the Royal Norfolk Show Ground. The day is all about raising money for the local charity Nelsons Journey a Norfolk charity that supports children and young people up to their 18th birthday who have experienced the death of a significant person in their life.
By day the event is a whole host of food and drink stands, chef demos and lots of fun games for all the family and that’s where we fitted in with our name the teddy stand. The winning name was Sparky and he is delighted to have gone home with a lovely new family who will look after him. We were delighted to raise over a hundred pounds which will go towards the grand total which in the past has been over £10,000, this amount will be announced soon.
Even for experienced movers like us (and we have been moving people for over 90 years), the whole day was great to be a part of and a moving experience.
David Galer Managing Director of Hadley and Ottaway said: "It was fantastic to see so many local companies passionate about the local community and giving up their time to help support this great cause”.
