On Friday 7th October 2022, we helped the Samaritans move premises for the first time in 58 years. They give so much of their time to helping others and it was our turn to give a little something back.
“The move itself looked like a daunting task until local removal firm Hadley & Ottaway offered to help on a Pro Bono basis. Hadley & Ottaway are supporting Norwich Samaritans in a number of ways, including making a donation for every removal they complete in 2022. By donating their skilled team and specialist vehicles they have certainly eased the stress of a move after 58 years”.
David Galer, Hadley & Ottaways’ Managing Director said “We were delighted to be supporting Norwich Samaritans in their fundraising efforts towards the refurbishment of their building. Helping them minimise stress and costs with their move to their temporary centre is just another way we can support this vital organisation”.
James Ellis, Norwich Samaritans’ Branch Director said: “What else can we say except thank you to everyone who has donated to the project so the building work to our branch can go ahead”.
