Hadley and Ottaway are delighted to share their latest fundraising initiative, so far raising an impressive £2,860 in support of Centre 33’s vital work with local young people. Thanks to match funding provided through The Big Give Christmas Challenge, the total impact of the campaign has now doubled to £5,720, directly benefiting services that support young people across the region.
“Since choosing Centre 33 as our charity of the year we have been making a donation for every client we move. Although just 6 months into fundraising, the match funding opportunity with The Big Give campaign came at a great time to really boost the project pot and at a time of year when the challenges young people face can become even greater.” Said Caroline Galer Director of Hadley and Ottaway.
Centre 33 provides free, confidential support for young people facing challenges related to mental health, housing, finances, employment, and emotional wellbeing. The funds raised will help ensure more young people can access the timely help they need.
“We’re delighted to support Centre 33, an organisation making a real difference in the Cambridge community,”. Seeing Hadley & Ottaway’s contribution doubled through The Big Give means even more young people will benefit, and we’re incredibly grateful to all our lovely customers who have made this possible.” said David Galer Managing Director of Hadley and Ottaway.
Centre 33 expressed their appreciation for the partnership and generosity shown by Hadley & Ottaway in both the fundraising and the pledge of supporting the charity’s move to a new larger building in response to demand in 2026
Corrina O'Flaherty Seddon, Development and Partnerships Lead for Centre 33, commented ” The new early support hub for young people in Cambridge will allow us to reach double the number of young people every year, providing them with support for their mental health, practical issues and caring responsibilities, all under one roof. Every donation, big or small, takes us a step closer towards opening its doors. We are very grateful to Hadley & Ottaway and their customers for their generous donation and help with our relocation. It means so much to have the support of our business community to help provide vital services and improve the lives of young people.”
