We recently carried out a European Removal, which saw our trucks head across Europe to Switzerland. The move was carried out over 6 days with the truck and crew travelling to Oberagi, Switzerland via the overnight ferry Harwich to Hook v Holland followed by an onward journey the next day through Holland and Germany.
Upon arrival on day 2 the crew proceeded to pack some 130 cartons and export wrap a number of items which required specialist care.
On day 3 our crew (Marc & Alex) completed the packing and then commenced loading assisted by a Removals Porter provided by Swiss Moving Company Weber-Vonesch.
Day 4 saw the completion of loading then the clearing of Swiss Customs at the Schaffhausen Border. Once Customs had been cleared the crew then commenced the return journey.
Day 5; Arrived at the Hook v Holland to catch the 1415 hours ferry back to Harwich. Disembarked at 1945 hours and then returned to base in Watton, Norfolk.
Day 6; the crew travelled to High Kelling, Norfolk arriving at 0730 where they commenced unloading the 2400 cu ft (68 cubic metres). Once completed they then unwrapped the items they had carefully wrapped. Having wished the customer much happiness in their new home the guys then returned to base.
